It is with great pride that we inform you that on Friday, March 22nd, at the aula magna of the “Bellavitis” middle school in Bassano del Grappa (VI), the second appointment was held regarding the cycle of meetings organized by Michela Mantoan “at the tip of a pencil… nothing is destroyed & everything is transformed”. Sustainability, paper and fashion
Also, in this second meeting, as the PIÚINFORMA Association we actively participated in the organization of the event. In fact, thanks to the support of our precious and trusted partners we have been able to guarantee an ad hoc event, focused on healthy eating and sustainability.
For the success and realization of this event we thank you: Germinal Group, Quick, MB Water, Valisi and Ecozema. Sustainability, paper and fashion
We are proud to have partners who share our same goals and values. In this meeting, in addition to having had the opportunity to work “behind the scenes”, together with Dr. Francesco Cappelletto, we also had the honor of intervening and introducing our Association and what we deal with.
Sustainability, paper and fashion
All three companies present showed how sustainable it can be even during the production phase of the product. The first speaker of the evening presented paper and graphics that can use fonts with -30% use of inks in the printing phase to use other natural raw materials.
Companies have shown us how easy it is to give a second life to products that would normally be thrown away. Another curiosity that there is eco-friendly paper that is obtained from fruit waste and other products, such as: kiwis, oranges, lavender, cherries, coffee etc. The second guest company was Patagonia an example of sustainability applied to fashion.
A company that for many years has set itself the goal of creating sustainable products. Sustainability, in this case, has many facets; not only through the choice of suppliers that are in line with the ideas and values of the company, but also translates into the importance of respect for the environment, animals and employees themselves.
Concrete examples of how it is possible, at the same time, to create quality products and give great importance to the sustainability and well-being of its employees.
It is essential to see and understand that there are already important companies in the area that set a good example and that have been committed to making the modus operandi of their company more and more sustainable.
Each of us can help our environment, but it is essential that, in the first place, the manufacturers set in motion to make this possible. The next appointment is scheduled for Saturday 6 April at the Civic Museum of Bassano del Grappa (VI) at 3 pm. Do not miss!
