Ecomondo fair 2015 | Rimini that as every year was held in Rimini, from 6 to 9 November 2015.
PIÚINFORMA Association was present with its distributors and with the information material to spread its corporate philosophy in favor of food and environmental sustainability.
This participation has seen a new enrichment of the health products already offered by PIÚINFORMA Association. In addition, a guest of honor to animate the PIÚINFORMA Association stand during the days of Ecomondo 2015: Luca Sardella. The well-known Italian TV personality presented his new SARDY Caffè, a high-quality organic coffee, and entertained participants with helpful and curious tips on this drink.
Global water expo
It is one of the main innovations of this edition of Ecomondo. It is an entire pavilion dedicated to the technologies used in the supply chain of the integrated water cycle of water. A fascinating world that of water recycling but above all an indispensable step. Suffice it to say that in one year – in Italy – 5.2 billion cubic meters of water are needed for private use alone. 30% of the treated water is “recovered” in the agricultural sector but much is also lost on the street. In fact, it is estimated that out of 470 thousand km of pipes, 32% of “blue gold” is lost along the path made to arrive in our homes. (Hall D3).
Sustainable food and lifestyles
The Minister of the Environment Gian Luca Galletti spoke first-hand about food waste and sustainable systems for the food industry. From the Rimini Fair, in fact, he will launch the Project Waste Zero: “Food and sustainable lifestyles” (press conference on November 3rd at 2 pm, Agorà H2R Hall Sud). It will go on, on November 4th, at 10 am (Green Chemistry Room) when we talk about the possibility of going “Towards a zero-waste food chain: enabling technologies for the sustainability of the food industry and waste management from a circular economy perspective”. We’re talking big numbers.
