A bit of philosophy: why is necessary to be bio-sustainable?

A little philosophy about why you need to become sustainable

A little philosophy on why it is necessary to become sustainable, Impressions of a graduate in philosophy of law.

Is sustainability a ‘legal obligation’, a passing trend, or is it something more radical that needs to be adapted to?The idea for this article came to me by observing the approach with which the worlds of automatic distribution and catering are reacting to the growing demand for sustainable service and higher quality in products. A little philosophy about why you need to become sustainable poi

Sustainability is becoming increasingly important even legally: sustainability is now becoming a fundamental part of everyone’s life. Everyday life will increasingly need to be related to the sustainable. But is sustainable just something you have to legally adapt to or is it something more? #ALIMENTAZIONE SUSTAINABLE#. poi

What is the point behind the idea of sustainability: Is it just a legal obligation? Why is it, yes if… poi

In order to answer this question, I believe that we need a very brief analysis of the purpose of the law itself, to see whether this is only a way of making clear to all those laws and moral rules which, to most, are, from a selfish point of view radically necessary as a result of observing the state of things in the world. A little philosophy about why it is necessary to become sustainable #alimentazione sustainable # poi

The purpose of the law, according to the most traditional doctrine of the state, in all the major thinker of the last four centuries, has been to safeguard the future of individuals and society. Are we doing this today?

The risks of the modern world, in fact, concern the preservation of the future of our planet and future generations. If the ‘movement’ of sustainable has become so important, it is precisely because of this factor, of thinking   and of acting to safeguard the future of the species, modern man had now become completely disinterested. We have been so disinterested in this that we have changed social structures, thinking only of individual survival, lengthening the time of personal life, but completely forgetting what needs to be done for the permanence of the species. poi #ALIMENTAZIONE SUSTAINABLE# poi

Sustainability is not a passing thing: it will become more and more invasive and part of our daily lives.

Even if it were not true – in fact – that the current state of the world was caused by a superficial thinking and a single-to-the-present thinking of humanity, what is logically indisputable is that, given the current state of affairs, if we do not start thinking about the future again, to  design properly, for the environment, for our being able to persist in the future, the latter perhaps we will not be able to guarantee, to subsequent generations. The sustainable will then be a teacher to finally get out of modern thinking.

In fact, since human nature (and law) are addressed by an instinct for  survival, I think it is prudent to assume that for everyday life and for the right itself   reasoning in a sustainable  way will be increasingly relevant and appropriate, because he can be an engine and an excellent teacher, for modern man, towards a more conscious conception, compared to the modern one, of his position in the world, and of the incredible relevance that everyone’s choice of life has on the entire destiny of humanity. #plastic free#. But why then would sustainability even be necessary, and not a banal passing ‘fashion’? In short, what is the point of being sustainable?

Being sustainable, in fact, may not be ‘physically’ necessary, as without it you can definitely live (albeit perhaps still for a short time). Sustainability, in fact, will become more and more morally (as well as legally) necessary, as a lack of interest in the problem could lead to the probable decline and destruction of the environment. But we all feel that, but it doesn’t seem to worry too much, why? poi

Why don’t we care so much about threats to the environment?

I think the answer lies in the fact that it is true that the environment is changing rapidly, but it is also true that this has already happened in history. What sustainable is staying for, then, must be found elsewhere. And the answer, I think, is not found in the idea of  fashion, because otherwise human failure would be complete, because I believe that sustainable is the first tangible sign of a radical change in human thought that so many philosophers had already prescribed, for the species, between one and two centuries ago. poi

Not just the environmental consequences, but those on the human consciousness of one’s place in the world.

And this is not so much because of the “mere” environmental consequences, I believe, but rather because of the stubborn resistance of the ruling classes to the idea of doing good, combined with a persistent resistance to change and personal growth as well as the (connected) sacrifice, of modern man and woman. If it is difficult to do good, in fact, even when it becomes economically advantageous, the confidence that can be had in the ability to remain of the species, in a dignified way, is evident that it is damaged and not by a small one. poi

The sustainable to learn how to do good.

Therefore, if not physically (according to the laws of physics)  necessary, being sustainable seems morally necessary to us, in the sense of being finalistically necessary(according to necessity, in the sense of need) in order to obtain the good aim of safeguarding the survival of the species (of a good human species, and not of one that is not worth fighting for). #ALIMENTAZIONE SUSTAINABLE# #ETICA OF SUSTAINABLE#. poi

The ‘right’, with the aim of safeguarding sustainability with continuity, the  survival of society, it is beginning to take on board these requests and, given and made practical the latter, they are likely to undergo the kind of change that Ugo Grozio – great and illustrious jurist of the past – told us happened and happens with those ‘rights’ that are discovered to be necessary because they correspond to the needs of human nature: sustainability, probably, could become  (if it’s not already) a natural right common to all human beings.  That is to say, it is one of those  fundamental rights that Constitutions recognizes , and does not affirm, because they are now so deeply rooted in the history of humanity, or, some say, precisely so fundamental and rooted in the  nature  of human beings that they can only be recognized, by the law, which is therefore of a lower rank #freewater poi

In short, sustainability is not a ‘ passing thing ‘, but a change that is here to stay. In the sense that it serves to allow humanity to stay.

It will therefore be good for managers, producers and anyone working in the production sectors to try to start ‘coming to terms with’ them, to understand the nature of the problems, the reasons why this thing is becoming stronger and stronger, and how to adapt to the changes that will follow, because the sustainable is here to stay. It will have effects in everyday life, as in routine in the workplace. We have already had a taste of these changes, with the changes that we have had to adapt to with Covid-19. Change is tiring, but it is not impossible, and it can produce incredible advantages. #ALIMENTAZIONE SUSTAINABLE# A little philosophy about why you need to become sustainable. poi

Is sustainability necessary for the selfish salvation interests of the individual?

A “belly” answer could be a simple “yes.” But why should this be the case? To convince ourselves why sustainable being   seems to us can somehow also personally “save us”, think about how this type of lifestyle serves, I believe, mainly to learn again to really take care of others. That is, to learn to be human again, if we take Martin Heidegger’s definition of the essence of human nature for good. poi

Does sustainability and coronavirus have anything in common? poi

Salvation, which modern man has confused with the concept of  mortal survival, is a concept that concerns spirituality in things, as we know very well here in Italy, and that nevertheless we could dramatically remember because of the Coronavirus: everywhere human beings have freaked out, in fact, as soon as they realize that the promise of material salvation given to us by science was no longer absolute, or that perhaps, it had never been. #ALIMENTAZIONE SUSTAINABLE#. poi

Living ‘following the current’ is no longer enough. poi

What sustainable being requires of us is therefore to start acting again, and to do so through positive projects for the world and for others, projects that persist, linking pleasure and the momentary impulse to well-being and a long-term vision. Because the modern man has always been content to act following the fashions, following the wave. But living “on the crest of the wave”, I believe that to date it is no longer enough. poi

Finally, being sustainable is a doing: being sustainable means in fact making a personal commitment to act for the future, it is that “doing” necessary to achieve this goal. Because what is sustainable is no longer just thinking about one’s present, but at the same time it is also a prime example of returning human to thinking about one’s neighbor, a thinking that is both altruistic and selfish, and which thus becomes a way in which one can create a true future, both for our children, grandchildren, and for all future generations in general. #ALIMENTAZIONE SUSTAINABLE#
