Press release

Dear associates,

It is with extreme joy that I inform you that last Friday, June 15, 2018, the UNESCO-IHP Resolution (InternationalHydrological Programme) was approved on the World Network of Water Museums for Sustainable Development www.watermuseums.net, carried out in collaboration with the Centro “Civiltà delle Acque” in Venice. Our skills and our continuous commitment to ever greater environmental sustainability have meant that PIÚINFORMA Association now has a role of absolute importance in this worldwide program, as Main Partner of the global network of Water Museums. poi

It is a source of great pride for us to be able to communicate to you news of this magnitude, as well as proof that the path we have traveled in recent years with you by our side is certainly the right way, not only for all of us, but for the planet and for society as a whole. poi

The main and concrete objective of the project is to reduce the number of plastic bottles in the distribution of water and therefore also the impact it has on the environment, while at the same time increasing social awareness about this precious source of life, which is all too often wasted while not being infinite. poi

PIÚINFORMA Association is already committed to making the maximum contribution for this purpose, the importance and values of which we broadly share, and we hope to have you at our side in this other chapter of our long history. Global network of water museums in Unesco Paris poi
